This policy explains how Business Distributors Ltd, trading as BDL IT, collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information through this website and in the course of providing IT services. We handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
We collect personal information you give us directly - for example when you complete the contact form, email us, or phone us. That typically includes your name, organisation, email address, phone number and whatever you choose to tell us about your enquiry.
Where you become a customer, we also hold the information needed to support you: contact details for your staff, records of support requests, and technical information about the systems we manage on your behalf.
Website information
This site collects only what is needed to serve pages and understand general usage. That may include your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the site that referred you. We do not use this information to identify you personally.
Maps on our locations page are embedded from Google Maps, and those embeds are subject to Google's own privacy terms.

Some of the platforms we use store data outside New Zealand; where you require New Zealand data residency for your own obligations, tell us and we will design your services accordingly.
