Office moves and fit-outs
Moving premises is when network decisions get made in a hurry and lived with for a decade. We come in early, work with your builder or fit-out company on cabinet location, power and cable paths, and have the network live before your staff arrive.
Because BDL also handles your print fleet, the multifunction devices, their power and their network drops are part of the same plan rather than an afterthought on moving day.

Common questions
Our Wi-Fi is bad in one part of the building. Do we need a whole new system?
Usually not. Most coverage complaints come down to access point placement, channel overlap with neighbours, or older devices that cannot use the 5GHz band. A survey costs far less than a rip-and-replace and often finds a two-access-point answer.
Can you work with our existing hardware?
Where it is fit for purpose and still supported, yes. We will tell you plainly which pieces are worth keeping and which are past the point where patching them is even possible.
Do you handle the cabling too, or do we need a separate contractor?
We arrange structured cabling as part of the project, so there is one plan and one point of responsibility rather than a gap between the cabling contractor and the network installer.
What about a backup internet connection?
Worth it for most businesses now that phones, files and line-of-business systems all live online. A second connection on a different carrier, with automatic failover on the firewall, is inexpensive relative to a day offline.
