Microsoft 365 usually arrives one licence at a time. Files end up spread across OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and a server nobody wants to decommission, and the security settings are whatever came out of the box in 2019.
We tidy that up: work out where data should live, move it there once, and configure the tenancy so it is secure, backed up and manageable. Then we keep it that way as Microsoft changes things underneath you.

Mailbox sizes, file shares, permissions, line-of-business dependencies and anything with a hard-coded server name in it.
Design and pilot
We agree the target structure, then move a pilot group first so surprises happen with five people rather than a hundred.

Bulk data pre-staged, final sync and cutover out of hours, and someone on site or on the phone the following morning.
Adoption and handover
Short sessions on what has changed, documentation for your records, and clean-up of what is no longer needed.

Common questions
Is Microsoft 365 data backed up already?
Not in the way most people assume. Microsoft guarantees the service, and keeps deleted items for a limited retention window - but a file deleted or encrypted months ago, or data lost when a licence lapses, is your problem. A separate backup of Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams closes that gap.
Do we still need a server?
Sometimes. Large CAD or video libraries, and some line-of-business applications, still run better locally. We are happy to say so rather than pushing everything to cloud for its own sake - the honest answer is usually a mix.
Can you take over an existing tenancy from another provider?
Yes, and it is common. We take a partner relationship on the tenancy, review how it has been configured, and give you a written list of what we would change and why before touching anything.
How long does a migration take?
For a typical 20 to 50 person office, two to four weeks from kick-off to cutover, with the disruptive part confined to one weekend. Large file shares and complex permission structures add time - we will tell you which you have during discovery.
